This reverts commit 38b085c. This added diagnostics to the NAPI startup, and was only use for pre-release testing.
Previously, any LoadFile result containing contents set sent_full, including the TOC's and those of other supporting files. A result arriving before the current file's enabled diffs against the previous file's contents. Conversely, a current file read from disk (because the IDE lacks it) never set sent_full, so diffs and re-translations to the Client were skipped even though the Client had the full text. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…nslations. In document-only mode, a dirty Client applied incoming diffs to its copy of the text from before its edits. If it had ignored a re-translation, that copy no longer matched the text the Server diffed against, corrupting the result. Now a dirty Client reports OutOfSync for any diff, as normal mode already did, so the IDE resends the full text. The Client also replies to a re-translation it skips because its own edit is in flight. Previously it sent nothing, so the Server reported a timeout error, which the IDE then showed. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…s updated. When the IDE updated a file which the Client can't edit, the Framework wrote the new contents into the simple viewer's contents iframe (or the page itself) with document.write. This parsed them as HTML, collapsing a text file's line breaks, and threw for an XML document such as an SVG image. Instead, reload the document showing the file, so the browser renders the IDE's latest contents according to the file's type. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
When a commit outdates the project's TOC, the cache now sends TocOutdated to every connection in the project. The connection re-renders the TOC from the text its sidebar last loaded and, if the rendering changed, sends the HTML to the Client in a new UpdateToc message. Editing the TOC itself, from the IDE or the Client, refreshes the sidebar the same way. The Client replaces the sidebar's contents in place, preserving its scroll position and the listener which intercepts clicks on the TOC's links. 📝 Walkthrough
Merge Risk: 🟡 Moderate · up to Cross-references and fragments can stay stale after an unsaved IDE edit is discarded, because the project cache keeps facts that are not on disk. Fix this before merging. The other findings are small documentation fixes. Pre-merge checks |

Document the return value of project_cache.
The parameters of project_cache have comments. The return type Arc<Mutex<Cache>> has no comment immediately before it. The repository guideline requires that comment on new and edited signatures.

Do not store a disk stamp with IDE text.
translation.rs passes unsaved IDE text to source_to_codechat_for_web_string, but hydrate_dom commits that text with file.metadata()'s stamp. When the connection closes, Rescan can see the unchanged disk stamp and skip the file, leaving facts from unsaved text in the cache.
Store None for translations from connection text. Keep the consumer's pre-read stamp replacement in scan_file.
🐛 Suggested fix
- // Stamp the file and canonicalize its path before taking the cache lock, so
- // that no I/O happens while the lock is held. The stamp captures the state

- // took beforehand; see `scan_file` in `cache.rs`); the canonicalization
+ // Do not associate IDE text with the file's disk stamp. The cache consumer

+ // `scan_file` in `cache.rs`. Canonicalization
// satisfies the cache's requirement that all paths are canonicalized and
// absolute. (Canonicalization fails for files which don't exist on disk --
