The present design of the TOF ASIC includes pixel columns grouped into readout columns, each of which has two TDC pairs carrying out the ToA/TOT measurements. The TDC pairs have a busy window of 100 ps during which no new pixels can be read out. This is included in the digitizer by caching two digit times per readout columns (default: 4-pixel-column groups) and checking whether future digits fire beyond the TDC window (default: 3 us).
TODO: the treatment of multiple hits crossing the same pixel during the TDC acquisition window should be improved.
